Energy Efficient Centrifugal Separator For Dewaxing Processing Batch Filtration
Overview
Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filters from Huading Separator are special designed for semi-automatic or fully automatic models for fast, efficient, liquid-solid separation. The Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filter is ideally suited for high and / or constant flow, batch filtration, with dry cake or wet cake discharge options.
Work principle
When filtering, the filter aid is mixed with the material in the mixing cylinder, and a filter cake layer is formed on the filter screen through a transport pump. Once a stable filter cake layer is reached, the small filter aid particles provide countless fine channels to trap suspended impurities and allow clear liquid to pass through. This way, the material is actually filtered through the cake layer.
When the filter residue on the surface of the filter plate reaches a certain thickness or the filtration pressure reaches 0.4MPa, stop feeding, blow dry the filter cake with compressed air or steam, clean the filter screen and discharge the residue. The filter residue is unloaded due to gravity and vibration. For viscous filter cakes, manual assistance is required to clean the residue.
